Job Description
A permanent Commercial Manager job paying up to £65k for a manufacturing business in Wolverhampton.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience and qualification) and the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving commerciality within a highly reputable business. Due to the nature of the role, you will be office-based but there may be scope for some hybrid working in the future.

Your new company
Hays Senior Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing business in the Wolverhampton area as they look to appoint a Commercial Manager on a permanent basis.
Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be the link between the finance and sales teams assuming responsibility for a number of commercial tasks.
Main duties:
- Define and attend meetings with senior stakeholders to ensure effective management of commercial topics in the UK
- Business planning and forecasting
- Co-ordination of planning data, such as volumes and project cycles
- Directly lead the claims management process; defining strong cases with plants and escalating claims to Account Managers
- Reporting to the business on claims status, sales administration, RFQ status and commercial activities
- Business partnering with both finance and non-finance personnel
- Manage a small team of Sales Administrators
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or QBE
- Experience of working in a similar commercial role with strong business partnering skills
- Good analytical skills and a dogmatic approach to gathering data/chasing information to complete reports
- Manufacturing background and a working knowledge of metal forming/assembly would be advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Leadership skills and a track record of managing and motivating individuals
- Competent with MS Office and ERP packages (SAP preferable)
