A leading independent PE backed business is looking for an FP&A professional to undertake a crucial role in their finance department.
Your new role

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning processes

Coordinate the annual budgeting process, including gathering input from various departments, consolidating data, and preparing reports for senior management.

• Monitor and analyse budget variances, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Prepare and present regular financial reports, including management reports, board presentations, and ad-hoc analysis.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse financial data, providing support and insights to improve business performance.
• Act as a financial advisor to business unit leaders, providing guidance on financial implications of business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, systems, and controls.

What you'll need to succeed

ACCA or CIMA Qualified (or equivalent)

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance business partnering, or a related field.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with a keen attention to detail.

Proficiency in financial modelling and forecasting.

Advanced knowledge of Excel and experience with financial software (e.g., Intact, NetSuite, Sage).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

The ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
