Our client is seeking a Cloud Architect with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure and a solid understanding of other major cloud providers such as AWS and GCP. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading UK 3rd party food & drinks logistics provider, offering dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions. The role offers a competitive salary of £70,000 to £75,000 plus Cash Car Allowance and Bonus, based in Rugby.

What you'll do:
As a Cloud Architect, your role will be pivotal in developing and implementing cloud strategies that align with business objectives. You will design secure, scalable solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure while also demonstrating a strong understanding of AWS and GCP. Your ability to collaborate with technical SMEs and communicate effectively with C-suite executives will be crucial in ensuring alignment between cloud strategies and business goals.
Leading the adoption of Agile and DevOps practices within internal teams will be part of your responsibilities. You will provide technical guidance to team members while staying abreast of the latest industry trends.
- Develop and implement comprehensive cloud strategies and standards.
- Design and architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions primarily on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs and communicate effectively with C-suite executives.
- Lead the adoption of Agile and DevOps practices with internal teams and partners.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud computing.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Cloud Architect role will bring proven experience in the field, particularly focusing on Microsoft Azure. A strong understanding of AWS and GCP is essential. You should have experience in developing and implementing cloud strategies that align with business objectives. Excellent communication skills are required to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies is necessary. Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP would be advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Cloud Architect with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Strong understanding of AWS and GCP.
- Experience in developing and implementing cloud strategies and standards.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies.
- Ability to balance long-term implications of individual decisions.
- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
