Clinical/Counselling Psychologist - Male MH Rehabilitation

Krinvest Care Group are looking to recruit a Clinical / Counselling Psychologist at Pine House based in the Bacup area of Lancashire. Reporting the Hospital Manager.

Service: Pine House, 20 bedded male rehabilitation Unit based in Bacup.

Hours: 24 to 30 hours per week

Salary: From £45500 Dependent on experience

Duration: Permanent

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role, will be an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychologist. As part of the team, you will be working within an all-Male Rehabilitation Hospital. This is a highly rewarding job, supporting our clients to maintain their rehabilitation and enabling them to manage their behaviours successfully.

In order to be successful in this role, you will have a psychology degree and a minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience as an Clinical Psychologist. We require experience supporting individuals with challenging behaviours. A friendly and caring approach is essential.

No two days will look the same in this role, however your main duties will include:
Assessing clients to understand their psychological needs, developing the right support and interventions for support
Identifying goals and developing support plans to facilitate these goals
Supporting clients directly on a 1 to 1 basis or via multi-disciplinary teams
Attending group sessions with the client and wider supporting professionals
Working closely with the Hospital Manager to facilitate the support package for clients
Creating behavioural support plans
Monitoring client data and conducting mood assessments
Liaising with external organisations, clients, and their families
