Claims and Compliance Support Officer

Hays are currently working with a local authority to recruit a Claims and Compliance Support Officer.We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Claims and Compliance Support Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of financial claims, funding delivery, and associated participant paperwork. This position is integral to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of our Employment & Skills Programmes, particularly those funded by external sources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify financial claims for accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines.
• Conduct thorough checks of participant paperwork to ensure all required evidence is provided and meets compliance standards.
• Monitor and report on the delivery of funding to ensure it aligns with program objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain detailed records of all claims and compliance checks.
• Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
• Stay updated on relevant regulations and best practices in compliance and claims management.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in checking financial claims and participant paperwork for compliance, preferably within externally funded Employment & Skills Programmes.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and guidelines.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for claims and compliance management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
