Children in Need Social Worker

We are looking for a highly skilled Locum Social Worker to join a Children in Need (CIN) Team.

This role requires a Social Work qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in permanent roles in the UK.

About the team:

The Children in Need Team work directly with children and families who are in need of intervention to protect their wellbeing in order to achieve positive outcomes. The team hold cases of children both on CIN and CP Plans and work with a child-focussed mindset. Initial court proceedings are also a key responsibility this team handles - they are then transferred to the Looked After Children team.

About you:

Experience within a Children's frontline team setting is key to being successful in this role. Registration with Social Work England (SWE) and a minimum of 3 years' experience post Social Work qualification in permanent roles within the UK also is necessary. Experience working on court proceedings is key in order to be considered for this position.
