Chief Executive Officer

Electric Storm Youth (ESY) is seeking to appoint its first Chief Executive Officer to be responsible for the running of the charity and to provide effective executive leadership and direction for the organisation.

As CEO you will have full responsibility for the effective, top-level management and development of all services connected with the charity (including our charity shop), and to be responsible for the standard of support provided to all those using those services.

• Will be a people-person, instilling the positive culture of the organisation and motivating the staff and volunteer team to achieve fantastic results.
• Will have had experience of working in youth orientated environment and/or an in-depth understanding of the pressures and needs of young people.
• Will be a problem solver who understands the bigger picture and will be able to demonstrate this through their experiences.
• Will be able to develop highly effective partnerships, be an active listener, excellent communicator and be an ambassador for the charity.
• Will lead, develop, and motivate the staff and volunteer team to deliver ESY s mission of supporting young people now, laying foundations for the future and being passionate believers that by supporting young people both emotionally and with practical life skills, we can help them build firm foundations for their lives as adults.
• Will be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to build partnerships and develop effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and networks.
