The Chassis, Engine Installation & Exterior group is responsible within Product Development for the realization of (sub) projects in the field of Engine Installation components such as Cooling Modules, Engine Supports, Air Inlet Systems, Exhaust Systems, etc. But also Chassis mounted Exterior Parts such as Bumper, Grille, Side Skirts, Headlight Panels, etc.

As a Chassis Engineer, you will be responsible for chassis parts that have to be developed within several projects. You will work in a dedicated team led by a Project Lead Engineer.

The following properties and activities will be important:

• Developing chassis parts, taking care of drawings and releasing
• Define components for production and testing applications according to planning and
• Deploying test assignments and drawing up technical specifications and descriptions.
• Co-initiating risk analyzes and validation plans and intervening in the event of a threat problems or delays in activities of their own group and beyond.
• Implementing quality improvements and cost price reductions.
• Building up, disseminating and safeguarding specialist expertise.

You also supervise outsourced work and maintain contacts with several suppliers.

• Finished Bachelor or Master degree, preferably Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
• You are independent, but you can also work in a team, you are decisive and decisive and has a proactive and passionate collegial attitude.
• You have good ones communication skills, and analytical abilities
• You have no problem with work under high time pressure according to schedule.
• Skills in CAD (UG-NX) and MS Office applications are required as well as
• Thorough knowledge of the English language, spoken and written. Dutch and German are desired (not mandatory).
