Category Manager

Category Manager - Food Industry -£45K-£55K - London - 2 days a week

We are working with a fantastic Food brand with a strong market presence in their food category and have extremely ambitious plans for the next 5 years. They are looking for a Category Manager to be part of the European expansion.

The most suitable candidate will have strong experience in Food Category Management, will have team management experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and oversee the Category Strategy Development plan, looking at areas for growth and consider potential risks.
• Work on Product development from concept to launch.
• Alongside the broader team, plan and manage the market intelligence to understand the consumer preferences and landscape.
• Work with the Brand and Marketing team to develop marketing campaigns and promotions for new products.
• Work with the Sales team to implement plans and promotional activities.

Key skills required:

• Currently working as Category Manager.
• At least 5-6 years experience with 2 years being in a managerial position
• FMCG experience is essential for this role - especially if European exposure
• Strong communication and relationships skills to work across multiple stakeholders
• Fluency in Chinese is very advantageous
