Category Manager

On behalf of Tesco Bank, AMS are now looking for a Category Manager based in Edinburgh for an initial contract length of 4 months.

Key responsibilities:

• Negotiating commercial and legal terms with new and incumbent suppliers and managing supplier relationships.
• Managing the company's procurement activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's needs.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.

Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Skills and Qualifications:

• Category Planning experience.
• Experience in Procurement.
• Third party management.
• Financial Services background good to have.
