Are you passionate about delivering a casework function to regulate charitable fundraising and protect the public?
Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with the the UK's charity regulatory body for the recruitment of a Case Officer on a full-time permanent basis. This role is offered on hybrid basis with two days based in their London office.
The regulator was launched in 2016 to promote good fundraising by charities and to protect the public from unacceptable fundraising practices. It works with other sector bodies and regulators to ensure that charities and other fundraising organisations understand their responsibilities when it comes to legal, honest, open and respectful fundraising. Reporting to the Case Manager, Case Officers are the initial point of contact for members of the public, charities and fundraising agencies when a complaint is made to the Fundraising Regulator.
As a Case Officer, you will deliver excellent service to all stakeholders, and you will investigate and resolve complaints in a prompt and efficient manner. Working in a busy, supportive and committed team, you will manage your own caseload and will undertake independent research and support on a variety of related projects. You will ensure consistent and robust evidence-based decision making and will maintain accurate and timely records.
To be considered for this post, you will have experience in a casework or complaints-handling environment. You will have the ability to investigate, analyse and exercise judgement in complex situations, and will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills. You will have the ability to understand the regulatory framework that the regulator operates within, and will operate with honesty, integrity and sincerity in all that you do to ensure that cases are resolved efficiently.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development of complaint handling across the charity sector. Please apply by submitting your CV in Word format (cover letters are not required at this stage). Successful candidates will be contacted and will be asked to complete a supporting statement.
