Job Title: Business Sales & Relationship Manager - UK

Location: Uxbridge - Applicants must hold the relevant valid authorisations to live and work in the UK.

Purpose of Position:

The position of Business Sales & Relationship Manager, UK within Acuative is a key senior management role. It is considered that this role is critical to the forward development of the company. The role's primary focus is to successfully achieve targeted Sales Revenues and Margins for the Company, develop our business in UK & Europe and promote the existing business relationship with current clients.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop, support and be directly responsible for the delivery of sales revenues and gross margin within the Company's agreed target markets.
  • Consistently review, develop and improve Acuative's value proposition(s) and the position of the company within its defined markets.
  • Define and consistently review the sales and client management strategy to achieve agreed targets in:
  • o Revenue and Margin Growth
  • o Account Management
  • o New business relationships.
  • Define, execute and review the sales process to plan, monitor and control sales activity.
  • Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to new sales opportunities
  • Develop a portfolio of new business clients.
  • Develop the company's growth in line with the agreed business plan.
  • Have detailed knowledge of market issues and challenges that the vertical business sectors face.
  • Lead and maintain an understanding of practice propositions and solution offerings
  • Develop client engagement proposals
  • Produce and deliver presentations to customers
  • Timely and accurate business forecasts
  • Working with all staff as a team by developing an effective professional relationship with Acuative management and staff so as to support and promote a good harmonious and effective working environment.

Skills/Competencies/Job Knowledge:

  • Strong customer orientation
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving targeted sales quotas using consultative selling techniques
  • Experience of successful selling of large new business contracts
  • Excellent oral communication skills, including formal presentation skills
  • Excellent written communication skills, including experience developing effective executive summaries and proposals
  • Demonstrated negotiation/closing skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills in addressing client/account issues
  • Understanding of corporate financial principles
  • Previous experience of managing and developing a sales division
  • Up to date knowledge of the Financial and Telco industry, competition and regulatory environment.
  • Strong vision and clarity in developing and communicating new propositions to customers
  • Understanding of relevant clients, their market drivers and processes.
  • Absolute understanding of the sales cycle/process.
  • Proven ability to initiate and build client and vendor relationships at Director/VP level.
  • Demonstrated ability to work at board level and understand business structures

Qualifications: Education and years of experience

  • B.S./B.A. degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 + years proven success in a sales role in the technology industry
  • 5 + years experience within the professional services/consulting industry
