Business Engagement Specialist (7 months)
Daily Rate: £480-510 (Inside IR35)

We are seeking a Business Engagement Specialist with extensive experience in policing or law enforcement to join a critical public sector transformation project. This 8-month contract focuses heavily on supporting police forces across the UK, driving engagement and collaboration with key law enforcement stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with regional police forces to foster strong relationships and ensure seamless communication and cooperation across various police departments.
• Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and external police stakeholders, ensuring clear alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines.
• Navigate procurement processes within a law enforcement context, ensuring that the specific needs of police forces are addressed, and that contract obligations are met.
• Provide expert insight into the operational workings of police forces, helping to tailor solutions and engagement strategies that align with the unique challenges and requirements of law enforcement.

Skills & Experience:

• Police Stakeholder Management: Extensive experience in managing complex relationships with police forces or law enforcement agencies, with a proven ability to engage at both operational and leadership levels.
• Procurement Knowledge: A deep understanding of public sector procurement or contract management processes, specifically as they relate to police organisations or other highly regulated law enforcement environments.
• Law Enforcement Expertise: Direct experience working within or alongside police forces is essential. A background in law enforcement, either operationally or in a supporting capacity, will be a key asset for this role.
• Communication & Engagement: Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence police stakeholders, from front-line officers to senior leadership, ensuring that all parties remain aligned throughout the project.
