Business Development Manager

Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, expanding Payigloo's partnerships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires deep industry expertise, particularly in card acquiring, issuing, PSP services, and cross-border payments. The ideal candidate will already have an established merchant portfolio and a strong network in the UK, EEA, and global payments ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and secure new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and industry expertise.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand Payigloo's acquiring, issuing, and PSP partnerships across multiple markets.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with merchants, payment service providers, and key stakeholders.
• Bring ready-to-onboard merchants and drive immediate revenue growth.
• Negotiate contracts and close high-value deals to maximize profitability and client satisfaction.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive positioning, and emerging opportunities in global payments.
• Collaborate with the executive team to refine and execute Payigloo's business development strategy.
• Represent Payigloo at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to strengthen brand awareness.
• Ensure a deep understanding of Payigloo's products/services and effectively communicate their value proposition.
• Monitor sales performance, providing strategic insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Communicate fluently in English and Turkish to engage with a diverse client base and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales within the payments industry.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth in card acquiring, issuing, PSP services, and cross-border payments.
• Strong network in the UK, EEA, and global payments market, with ready-to-onboard merchants.
• Expertise in partnership development, particularly within the global payments ecosystem.
• Fluent in English and Turkish to engage with regional and international stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market trends and the ability to develop actionable plans.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
