ABOUT YOU

You are a seasoned Business Data Analyst with a strong background in data management, particularly within the banking industry's Finance and Risk domain. With a deep understanding of regulatory requirements such as BCBS 239, you are passionate about driving compliance and improving data quality. You excel in stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication, and you are motivated by the challenge of aligning data requirements with organizational objectives to deliver meaningful results.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

You will play a critical role in shaping and implementing the organization's Finance and Risk data requirements capability. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with data users to define and document comprehensive data requirements for finance and risk analysis, modelling, and reporting.
• Ensuring alignment between data requirements and organizational goals.
• Developing and maintaining a comprehensive data requirements catalog, including definitions, ownership, and data quality standards.
• Identifying and utilizing tools and technologies to manage data requirements efficiently and track changes over time.
• Facilitating collaboration between IT, data management teams, data domains, and business units to promote effective communication and understanding of data needs.
• Communicating changes in data requirements to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulations such as BCBS 239 to uphold data governance and risk management standards.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• Education: A Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience: A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in data management, preferably in the Finance and Risk domain within the banking industry.
• Knowledge and Skills:
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements, including BCBS 239.
  • Familiarity with data management frameworks and best practices in data requirements management.
  • Strong project management expertise and experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively and navigate complex organizational environments.
