Job Description
Building Surveyor - Accessibility schemes, 6-Month Interim Contract, £350 - £450 p/day PAYE/Umbrella Conduct detailed surveys of offices, commercial spaces, and other non-housing properties to assess accessibility needs. Develop and implement accessibility improvement plans in compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accessibility considerations are integrated into design and construction processes. Provide expert advice on accessibility issues and best practices. Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory bodies. Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
What you'll need to succeed
MRICS, MCIOB, or NRAC qualifications are essential. Proven experience in building surveying, with a focus on accessibility schemes. Strong knowledge of accessibility regulations and standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
