Building Services Engineer Mechanical

We have an exception role for you, in the position of Maintenance Engineer - Plumber/Mechanical, you will be responsible for providing a first-class building maintenance service to the clinical environment , covering project and scheduled maintenance work.

Permanent, Full-Time, 40 hours/ week Monday to Friday

4hours minimum at 1.5/2 time. (On call shift 1 in every 5 weeks) Minimum payment for on call £190 per week

Salary: Competitive (Dependent upon skills and experience) Ranging from £37k - £40k

Principal Duties:

To carry out plumbing duties and Mechanical plant PPMS e.g. AHU's, Spilt Units, Fan Coils, Compressors.Support with cross discipline PPMs as required water safety PPMs, Patient room PPM's, handy man workTo work on planned preventive maintenance schedules, in line with departmental goals and objectives.To respond to emergency maintenance and reactive maintenance as requested.To supervise external contractors as directed by the Chief Engineer.To operate a shift system or On Call as required.Skills & Experience

Training in relevant discipline e.g. City & Guilds plumbing, mechanical3-5 years' experience in similar organisation, Healthcare is an advantage.Experience and knowledge of Building Services on a wide range of differentMechanical systems from pumps, valves and calorifiers to plumbing installs andMaintenance as well as general Building Service duties.
