Building Control Surveyor Class 2(A-F) - Long-Term Contract Available

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Building Control professional to join a team based in the Oxfordshire region. Working within the public sector, you will join an organisation which have a statutory responsibility to provide a wide range of building control services across the county, with involvement in domestic and commercial building projects which have been designed to meet a corporate vision and service transformation plan.

Your new role

• Service Delivery - overseeing domestic and commercial building projects, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
• Site Inspections - conducting thorough site inspections and planning assessments.
• Liaison - work closely with builders, architects, industry professionals, and other departments.
• Maintenance - keeping a comprehensive and accurate record as per standard operating procedures.
• Consultation - engaging in formal consultations with local fire, police, or water authorities.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed in this role, you will need to meet current accreditation standards for Class 2(A-F) in Building Control. You'll have proven experience in a similar building control position, and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of legislation and procedures.

What you'll get in return
In exhange, an hourly rate of between £55 - £60 per hour will be available and paid to you on a weekly basis across the duration of your contract. This is a long-term position which will likely run for a minimum of 12 months, providing you with continuity and peace of mind in work.
