Your new organisation

Your new company is a leading health research foundation which funds research and advocates for policy changes that generate new knowledge about health and wellbeing. Your new role

Your new role will be working as a core guardian of the charity's brand, with the purpose of growing the influence and building greater global recognition and trust. This will include:

  • Contribute to the development of our brand strategy, considering and developing things such as audience segmentation, brand hierarchy, trade marketing or our brand building journey.
  • Encourage the embedding of our vision, mission, beliefs and values across the organisation, through offering strategic brand advice, training, developing materials and developing partnerships.
  • Build excellent relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and provide brand and marketing expertise to enhance and influence their approach and maximise its brand building potential.
  • Create and embed a coherent and inspiring employer brand, working collaboratively with colleagues in People, Internal Comms and Experience Design.
  • Lead the development, evolution and review of our brand narrative, championing our beliefs and values.
  • Lead operational planning to ensure budget and resourcing requirements are accurately captured and fed into wider delivery planning.
  • Work with Creative Lead to increase consistency of our branding across all our touchpoints; establishing clear brand guardianship function



What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in applying for this position, you will need to have experience and a track record of managing Marketing or Brand functions within a purpose-driven context. You will need to have experience of managing and influencing a variety of internal stakeholders, to effectively manage, develop and create the brand of an organisation. It is also essential that a successful applicant has a strong strategic outlook and understanding of brand, and is able to draw upon relevant data and insights to shape decisions.
