Background

This is an opportunity to join a thriving business which is driven by the desire to see organisations performing and operating at their best. We are a leading multidisciplinary management and technical consultancy offering a wide range of services to housing associations, local authorities, Government bodies and the charitable sector.

Role purpose

As a growing consultancy business, working predominantly in the social housing sector, we are looking for a highly organised and results-driven Bid and Knowledge Manager who will help us to secure new and repeat work with our clients through tenders and proposals. This role is a crucial one in the business and needs someone who has prior experience of bid co-ordination and project management.

The successful candidate will work with the senior team to identify and then submit bids of the highest quality. In addition to this, we are looking for someone who will develop and maintain a library of key information that we use to help us with bids such as case studies, CVs, standard question responses etc. We need someone who has excellent written skills plus an eye for detail and is process driven. You will need to foster good working relationships with colleagues and adhere to strict deadlines.

This role also requires good IT and administrative skills to help you work efficiently and effectively.

We know that winning bids is a team effort so we will support you to learn about the business and feel confident in your role. ARK's strength lies in our people and we are keen to help our team learn, develop and progress wherever possible.

We are an inclusive employer and our aim is to have a team that reflects the diversity of the communities in which we work. If you read this job description and meet most of the criteria, then we would love to hear from you.
