Job Description
We are working with a nationwide established business listed on the London Stock Exchange to grow their energy management team delivering energy, water, cost, and carbon savings across their portfolio.
As Field Based Energy Manager, you'll have responsibility for a large geographical region, working with key stakeholders to help deliver energy savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Lead on energy audits to. Diagnose and troubleshoot BEMS issues, implementing solutions to ensure system reliability and efficiency. Remote analytics (e.g., monitoring and targeting, measurement and verification) and supporting our BEMS Team in the optimisation of building energy management systems
- Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements and delivering tailored solutions to meet their energy management goals.
- Project Management: Developing 'quick win' energy projects as well supporting longer term capex replacement projects
- System Upgrades: Recommend and implement system upgrades and enhancements to improve energy efficiency and comply with industry standards.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports, proposals, and system documentation for clients and internal teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in BEMS consultancy, installation, commissioning, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and energy management principles.
- Familiarity with leading BEMS platforms (e.g., Trend, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Trend Expert, CIBSE accreditation, or equivalent) are highly desirable.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively across London and the South East.
