Azure VMware Solution Architect

We are seeking a highly experienced AVS Solution Architect with deep expertise in Azure VMware Solution (AVS), VMware technologies, and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, deploying, and migrating complex enterprise IT infrastructures to the cloud, with a focus on Azure and VMware.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with program managers and service delivery teams to plan and execute enterprise infrastructure migrations to Azure VMware Solution.
• Work directly with customer stakeholders to gather requirements and define strategies for design and deployment.
• Architect scalable and secure hybrid cloud solutions with AVS and VMware components.
• Stay current with the latest Azure/AVS and VMware technologies to serve as a subject matter expert and trainer.
• Contribute to solution documentation, knowledge sharing, technical communities, and the development of training and self-help tools.

Must-Have:

• 12+ years of IT experience, including:
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure VMware Solution
• 5+ years with VMware vSphere, Azure cloud services, and cloud migrations
• Strong architectural background with VMware and Microsoft datacenter/cloud infrastructures.
• Proficiency with:
• VMware vSphere 6.0+
• VMware NSX-T (including DNS, DHCP, Edge/Distributed Firewall, and migrations)
• VMware vSAN
• VMware HCX Advanced & Enterprise
• Azure ExpressRoute, VPN, Virtual WAN, and Route Server
• Core networking concepts in Azure
• Migration experience using VMware HCX
• Strong understanding of platform architecture, networking, security, and compliance standards.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with:
• VMware Site Recovery Manager & vSphere Replication
• vROps, vRLI, vRNI, vCloud Director
• Azure Disk Pools, Azure NetApp Files
• Azure Monitor, Arc, Security Center
• 3rd-party virtual appliances (Firewalls, load balancers)
• Familiarity with datacenter networking fabric topologies (Layer 2/3).
• Experience with leading cloud management platforms.
