Azure and PowerBI -Developer - REMOTE - UN-agency-client - EN-speaking

We are looking for one "remote Azure and Power BI Developer" to start ASAP (from end of March, desired) an initial 45-days contract (extensions possible) for an international Org' - client in ROME, where 100% REMOTE work is possible. Possibility of extension based on performance and budget availability. English speaking environment.

• Our client is an international organisation in Rome and a great reference in any CV!
• On-Site in Rome would be great, but up to 100% Off-site/Off-shore is possible.
• A competitive rate will increase chances to be selected.

TASKS

• Develop ETLs to bring in IPRM data from ORMS and external data from other sources to the corporate data lake.
• Integrate internal and external data into a single data model.
• Ensure data stored in SharePoint or other files are centralized for data refreshes.
• Develop reports and dashboards based on IPRM data aligning to the needs of the project.
• Provide technical support to business users during UAT.
• Thoroughly document all the development, support and change requests that are performed.
• Any other duties as required.

SKILLS

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related discipline with at least five years of professional work experience in Azure technologies, such as Azure Data Factory, ADLS and Azure Data bricks along with hands-on experience in developing Power BI dashboards.
• Experience of both designing and executing technical solutions from business requirements.
• Ability to document technical projects.

Technical Requirements:

• Strong skills in analysing, modifying and creating reports with Power BI/Fabric.
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and star schema modelling along with Azure Data Factory is essential
• Knowledge of other Azure products would be a distinct advantage
• Databases/Storage: MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL & ADLS
• Reporting tools: Power BI/Fabric
• Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
• Middleware tools: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks
