Role Summary The position focuses on: Client Leadership: Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, primarily in public affairs related to the built environment. Strategic Guidance: Offering insightful analysis and advice to clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables. Business Development: Growing the company s built environment practice and aiding in marketing and sales efforts. Team Mentorship: Supporting and coaching junior consultants. Project Execution: Leading and delivering campaigns that shape the built environment and support economic growth. Key Responsibilities Client Management Lead and nurture relationships with existing clients. Foster new business prospects. Provide strategic, high-quality advice and analysis. Team Leadership Mentor junior staff, guiding their professional development. Ensure consistent quality in team deliverables. Business Development Support marketing initiatives for the built environment practice. Drive efforts to secure new client accounts. Campaign Execution Oversee communications, public affairs, and consultation campaigns. Focus on projects related to planning, development, infrastructure, and local government. Candidate Profile Ideal candidates will possess: Experience: 6+ years in a communications/public affairs role, preferably in a consultancy or in-house environment. Expertise: Proven ability in managing accounts, delivering campaigns, and navigating the built environment, planning, or public affairs landscape. Interests: A strong passion for the built environment, current affairs, storytelling, politics, policy, and digital campaigning. Skills: Exceptional writing abilities with attention to detail, and experience in line management. Work Style: Thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment.
