Architectural Technologist - Faversham

This Faversham based multi - disciplinary consultancy is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their team. This role is part of their in-house architectural design team, offering the right candidate a unique opportunity to oversee live new build and refurbishment projects from inception and design through to construction and completion. The role involves working across the commercial, residential care home, domestic, and education sectors.
Day to Day responsibilities:

• Client-facing role
• Responsibility for day-to-day management and progression of numerous projects
• Developing designs from client briefs
• Produce and submit valid statutory applications for planning and building regulations, including planning statements
• Produce large-scale technical details, working drawings and tender packages including co-ordination of specialist consultants and specification writing
• Produce accurate and high-quality outputs
• JCT Contract Administration

Requirements:

• Absolute minimum 5 years post qualification experience
• Relevant Architectural / construction qualifications. ACIAT/MCIAT desirable but not essential
• High level of written and verbal communication skills
• Good knowledge of current Building Regulations and planning processes
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Possess a passion for good design and providing excellent customer service
• Positive, proactive and experienced team player
