About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Apprentice Administrator to join our Corporate Recovery Team in Manchester. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to start a career in business administration, especially within the finance and corporate recovery sector.

You will be working towards a qualification in Business Administration, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning essential skills from our experienced professionals. You'll provide administrative support to the team and assist in a wide range of tasks as you learn about corporate recovery and insolvency procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with administrative tasks related to corporate recovery and insolvency cases.
  • Preparing and drafting reports, letters, and other documentation for clients, creditors, and financial institutions.
  • Supporting the team in managing communications with clients, creditors, and stakeholders.
  • Handling data entry and updating case management software with client information.
  • Assisting with the organisation and processing of incoming and outgoing post, telephone inquiries, and email correspondence.
  • Preparing documents for meetings, including photocopying, filing, and other clerical duties.
  • Attending client sites when necessary to assist with the retrieval of business records and materials.
  • Providing support in the production of financial documentation, payment requisitions, and creditor claims.

About You:

  • A passion for business administration and a desire to work within a financial or corporate recovery environment.
  • Minimum 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including Maths and English.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in your work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience in a customer-facing or office-based role would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute to the team's success.
