Application Support Analyst SQL - Finance

Application Support Analyst London / WFH to £50k

Are you a skilled an Application Support Analyst looking for an opportunity to progress your career and gain trading systems experience? You could be progressing your career at a hugely successful Asset Manager.

As an Application Support Analyst you will support the proprietary trading systems built with C# .Net; from front office order management and decision-making tools through to back office trade reconciliations. You'll join a talented engineering team and will collaborate with software developers, testers and BAs as well as 3rd party data providers for 3rd line support. You will have direct access to the business to gather additional information, provide feedback and progress updates, following an incident through to resolution.

As a more junior member of the team you will be mentored and supported to progress your career.

WFH Policy:

You'll join the team in London two days a week in a hybrid work from home model. Please note you'll be on a rolling shift basis, starting at 7am, 8am or 9am - finishing at 4pm, 5pm or 6pm as part of a global team that provides 24/7 support to internal users across the globe.

About you:

• You have commercial Application Support experience, ideally within a Fixed Income or any other trading environment (gained at a bank or vendor)
• You have strong technical skills with SQL, PowerShell and / or Python scripting would also be of benefit
• You have a good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
• You have strong analysis and problem solving skills
• You're collaborative and have excellent communication skills
• You are degree educated, Computer Science or similar technical discipline
