Application & Technical Support Analyst

Application & Technical Support Analyst, Northamptonshire, Up to £48,000 per annum, Hybrid Working

You will provide support to bank users on Core Banking and Online Banking applications, configured interfaces, document processes, support testing and work within a small Applications support team.
You will work closely with the managed service partners to provide first class BAU support and service management to the business, and with the wider IT team to support their functions.

We are looking to offer a salary of up to £48,000 per annum DOE.

WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE

Taking ownership of incidents and service requests raised by internal customers, primarily for Oracle and Flexcube application.

Liaising with third parties to support production issues as required and maintain a detailed log to support incident reporting as assigned

Taking ownership of maintenance / administrative functions, including parameterisation changes where required through Change Control / Defect Management

Proactively working closely with development, business change and test teams to provide essential support

monitoring the production scheduled batch jobs, follow escalation procedures for any job failures

Planning and providing user training on key operational processes as required

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Hands-on production support experience with any Core Banking product, ideally

Understanding of key application parameterisations and third-party integrations

Experience of Oracle Flexcube and/or OBDX is essential.

You don't need to be an expert with SQL, but you will be able to write it.

Basic Unix shell scripting skills

Ability to convey concepts, issues and risks to technical as well as non-technical audience

IT WOULD BE NICE FOR YOU TO HAVE

• Java programming skills
