AppDynamics Specialist

Role: App Dynamics Specialist
Location: Remote
Contract Inside IR35

Job Description:

• Able to collaborate with clients to understand their application environments, business goals and performance needs based on use cases
• Analyze performance data collected by AppD to identify bottlenecks, perform root cause analysis on outages and proactively alert for potential problems
• Develop custom queries and metrics to enhance visibility into key problem areas
• Experience installing, configuring, and administering AppD controller and agents with different environments (windows, linux etc)
• Experience monitoring large scale applications (tomcat, WebSphere, etc)
• Experience in creating custom dashboards to track important business transactions and provide app performance insights.
• Experience setting up application baselines, transaction thresholds, snapshot collection.
• Experience creating Health Rules, Policies, Alerts and Actions
• Experience with End User Monitoring, Real User Monitoring, Analytics, Infrastructure, Database (Mongo, Oracle, SQL) and Network visibility
• Ability to troubleshoot slow database calls using transaction snapshots and diagnostic sessions during incidents
• Experience in gathering and measuring end-to-end business transaction performance
• Experience with integrating with other observability products such as 1000 eyes, DataDog, Splunk would be a plus.
