We also respond to disease outbreaks, conduct scientific research, and support the international trade of animal products and plants - meaning our work is high profile and fascinating.
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a veterinarian to join the APHA AMR team. This is an area of high profile and priority across government and society where the APHA provide national and international leadership. As a key player in the UK National Reference Laboratory for AMR in the Veterinary Sector you will help ensure that AMR incidents of concern are investigated in a timely fashion in liaison with all stakeholders. You will also contribute to the delivery and strategic direction of AMR surveillance and research activities in the longer term.
