Animal Care Assistant (ACA) - Birmingham

We are looking for a compassionate and hardworking Animal Care Assistant (ACA) to join our team in Birmingham. This role is perfect for someone passionate about animal welfare and eager to support a busy veterinary practice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, cleaning, and exercising.
• Assist veterinary nurses and surgeons during procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for animals and staff.
• Monitor animal behaviour and report any concerns to senior staff.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with animals in a professional or voluntary capacity.
• Compassionate and patient with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training.
