We are seeking a Senior Android Software Engineer to join a leading UK media organisation's mobile video streaming team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-scale, high-impact Android app used by millions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop clean, scalable Android code using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team

• Contribute to testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment to the Play Store

• Implement experimentation, feature flags, and multivariate testing

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of Android development experience

• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

• Experience with clean code, pair programming, TDD, and automated testing

• Familiarity with CI/CD, app signing, and Play Store deployment

• Proactive, collaborative, and confident communicator

Location & Working Pattern:

• Based in Manchester (on-site Thursdays, remote rest of the week)

Contract Details:

• Rate: £400/day (Inside IR35)
