Deployand pilot in Mars best-in-class consumer insights tools andcapabilities in Media and Creative Excellence across all segmentsand regions. Work closely with Mars Segment insights, marketing,and media teams to improve existing tools and pilot new ones tosupport content development, media planning and communicationstrategy development.
The jobholder is responsible for deploying the Mars signature tool tomeasure advertising communication effectiveness across the 3segments. On top of this, they will be responsible for thedeployment of other Horizon-developed best practices in theCreative and Media space.
To achieve thisobjective, the role holder has to proactively liaise with keyinternal stakeholders (local/regional and global Insights andMarketing teams) and external stakeholders (Research Agencies, DataProviders, Media and Creative agencies)
Theposition will require limited global travel - estimated at10%
What are welookingfor?Master'sdegree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or HumanSciences.
Significant priorexperience in a consumer research role (e.g. Consumer Insights,Marketing,
ResearchAgencies)
Proven experiencein Marketing Communications (Media and Creative) - planning,development ormeasurement
Track record ofdeploying tools/methodologies in a commercial businessenvironment
Provenanalytical, networking, and communicationskills
Experience in workingsimultaneously on severalprojects
Experience inmulti-country/cultural working environments (global orregional)
Asthe Comms Lab Acceleration Manager, the associate would work inclose partnership with the Mars Horizon insights team and thesegment insights teams to develop and deploy tools, whitepapers
and key beliefs to various units, toimprove decisions in MarketingCommunications.
EnsureHorizon tools are continuously deployed and applied to criticalbusiness questions and support with ad-hoc requests. Horizontoolkit include best-in-class proprietary tools in the areas ofoptimizing creative and media strategy effectiveness throughunderstanding human behavior, including: neuromarketing research,facial coding, eye-tracking, sales lift studies, AI enabled tools,etc.
Manage the process anddelivery of 100+ creative effectiveness projects across 4 segmentsand 8+ countries. Translate research requirements (coming fromlocal/global Marketing / Insights teams) into a request foranalysis for the team of dataanalysts,
responsible for running the analyticalengine; transform the results into insights and present them toMarketing and Insightsteams.
Identify gaps andhelp other members of the Horizon Comms Lab team evolve the suiteof standardised Horizon tools to support future research anddevelopment in the Communicationsarea
Act as Segment GlobalPoint of Contact for Marketing Communications in Horizon andsupport Senior Manager - Comms Lab to build relationships withsegment Insights and Marketing stakeholders and act as a point ofcontact for segment associates' queries on Media and CreativeInsights teams.
Co-pilotglobal research initiatives, based on the segment's priorities.e.g. - Media 2025, New Growth Models, Comms KeyBeliefs.
Maintain a databaseof cross-segment learnings that can enable key beliefs at thevarious strategy levels (ex., biddable, meaningful personalization,etc.)
Land best-in-classmethodologies and KPIs in the business against Media 2025 growthstrategies such as brand purpose, fame, distinctiveness,etc
