Accounts Payable Supervisor

Location: Local Council, MidlandsRate: £300 per day (Inside IR35)Initial 3 months

A local Midlands council is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to join their team. This role is crucial for overseeing the accounts payable function and contributing to a significant Oracle project within the council.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with council policies and procedures.

Provide training and support to the accounts payable team

Monitor and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Supervisor or similar role.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle systems.

Excellent leadership and team management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
