Role: Accountant/Team Manager
Start: ASAP
Location: Carmarthenshire
Contract Length: 3months + (extensions 6months + likely)
Rate: £270+ (DOE) Inside IR35

My client based in Carmarthenshire are urgently looking for a Qualified Accountant with excellent management skills to join the team on an initial 3 month contract that is likely to extend further into 2025.

The suitable qualified accountant will be responsible for day to day accounting activities while managing a team of up to 9 people and will be reporting into the Finance Director and Accounting Manager.

Key responsibilities are

Managing Invoice Process
Purchase to Pay process and invoice to cash process knowledge
Creating Statutory accounts
Strong Management experience
Reinforcing standards and improving current team outputs.
Assisting at a strategic level around process mapping and future planning
Strong Multi-Tasking experience

The suitable qualified accountant will need to be onsite at least once a week - this is essential to gaining a positive relationship with the team in place.
