About The Role
We're looking for an AccommodationMaintenance Manager to join the Management team at our Mineheadresort!
Reporting to theFacilities Senior Manager, you will be responsible for theaccommodation maintenance across the Minehead resort. Managing theday-to-day running of these public areas as regards team, rotas andgeneral activities along with brand standards and health &safety policies. As part of the Facilities department's managementteam, it will be your responsibility to manage both your internalteams and external service providers to ensure planned and reactiveworks are completed to the highest standards. Coveringaccommodation facilities at the resort including all guest and teamaccommodation. This role requires co-ordination and control todeliver a prompt, efficient and high-quality service. Ensuring theresort complies with all current statutory legislation's, whilstactively looking to implement processes / procedures to help makeimprovements where necessary.
Oversee allteam activities within the department including recruitment,performance, and team development. You should be a real advocatefor your team's fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are havingregular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development andcareer with Butlin's. Regularly meet with our internal customers tohelp plan and prioritise work, responding appropriately toemergencies or urgent issues as theyarise.
As with all roles at Butlin's, noday will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on yourfeet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience isalways your number one priority. You will drive standards and havethe ability to lead the team to excellence, incorporating all brandstandards and Butlin's way of working.

The role will also involve analysing KPI's and stockcontrol systems to maximise gross profit margins and adhering tohealth & safety policies.

We are looking for someoneexperienced in supervising and managing a maintenance team.Credible background in a similar M&E infrastructure environmentthat can deal with the day to day running of a busyresort.
Knowledge and experiencein electrical, gas and water systems in relation to maintenance andadherence to current legislation and good overall Mechanical andElectrical understanding would be anadvantage.
With the ability tolead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of highdemand. Managing multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changingrequirements. As this is a 24 / 7 resort a flexible approach toshift patterns would be required.
IT skills including experience of MicrosoftWord, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, with a knowledge of facilitiesmanagement software would be advantageous. With strong leadershipskills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliveramazing results for our teams and guests everyday.
