1:1 Teaching Assistant Havering Start Date: ASAP Are you a compassionate Psychology graduate eager to make a difference as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant? This full-time role in Havering offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with a child with special educational needs (SEN) in a supportive and positive school environment.

• 1:1 Teaching Assistant full-time, term-time only
• Work under the guidance of a supportive SEN Lead
• Gain valuable class-based experience within a welcoming school community
• Located in Havering, easily accessible for local candidates
• Salary of £90-£100 per day
• Provide 1:1 support to an SEN child, both inside and outside of class
• Work closely with professionals and contribute to the development of EHCPs
• Help encourage progress and attainment in a nurturing environment

To excel as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you ll need a 2:1 or higher in Psychology from a leading UK university, along with prior experience working with children with SEN. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will support the child s individual needs, helping them to achieve academic and personal development. You will also work collaboratively with professionals and provide essential input into EHCPs to ensure the child s progress.
