1-1 Teaching Assistant - Barry (Starting After October Half Term)

We are seeking an experienced 1-1 Teaching Assistant to support a primary school pupil in Barry, starting after the October half term. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting children on a one-to-one basis.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working 1-1 with children in a primary school setting.
• Strong understanding of supporting children with additional needs.
• Enhanced DBS (required) - we can assist with obtaining one if needed.
• Registered with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).

Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1-1 support to a primary school child.
• Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child remains focused and engaged.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
• Offer emotional and behavioural support to help the child thrive in the school environment.

This is a full-time role, and we offer full support throughout the process to ensure you are ready to start after the October half term!
