Youth Development Coordinator

Purpose of the job

This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting the delivery of projects to help young people have a meaningful role in shaping the future of life in the UK through the Movement

Working across the delivery team, you will support the efficient day to day administration and co-ordination of the Ambassadors & Champions withing the Movement working alongside the Business Support Officer at Volunteering Matters. You will play a critical role providing administrative and co-ordination support for Ambassadors and Champions as part of the Movement.

The movement is working towards a society that understands and champions the power of youth, where all young people are equipped to lead change in their own lives and communities.

The movement is a collaboration of over 1000 organisations and hundreds of young Ambassadors & Champions from across the UK. They are united by a shared belief that all children and young people should be supported and empowered to make a positive difference on the issues that affect their lives, their communities, and broader society.

Experience we're after

• Experience of working directly with young people
• Experience of providing administrative support
• Experience of working independently and in a hybrid working environment
• Experience of dealing with sensitive information
• Experience of coordinating a busy schedule of activity and keeping key stakeholders informed of progress
• Experience of using data management/ CRM systems and maintaining a high standard of data
