Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Year 6 Teacher to take on full teaching responsibilities at a lovely school in Torquay. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the needs of all students. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative team, dedicated to ensuring the best outcomes for pupils.
Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 6 students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and carers to support student achievement and well-being.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Proven experience and confidence in teaching Upper Key Stage 2 (UKS2)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
