Teaching Assistant for Year 2 Class in Pontefract

Accelerate Teaching is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to support a Year 2 class at a primary school in Castleford. This full-time role begins as soon as you are cleared for work and will require your full-time commitment during term time hours.

As a TA, you will work closely with the class teacher to support the academic and personal development of young learners. Your role will involve helping to deliver engaging lessons, assisting with classroom management, and providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a primary school setting, particularly with Key Stage 1 (KS1) pupils. You should be enthusiastic, patient, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
