Your new role
Our client is a dynamic, friendly and supportive primary school based in Wallasey on the Wirral. We are looking for an experienced Year 2 teacher to join the team for one year starting in 2024. The post will be full-time, and you will take on full class responsibilities for the duration of the role, including planning creative and stimulating lessons, Assessing and monitoring pupil progress, providing feedback and support, and working collaboratively with other staff and parents. You will also have the opportunity of involvement in extracurricular activities and the wider life of the school. What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this Wallasey Year 2 Teacher role, you will need to have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

At least two years of experience teaching year 2 or Key Stage 1

A proven track record of raising attainment and progress

A creative and engaging approach to teaching and learning

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

A positive and collaborative attitude

An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
