This is a *Amsterdam* based role with an excellent immediate start within a Global Technology Client that is working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Workday HR Modules Configuration Specialist to join their People Systems team. The specialist will be responsible for configuring and maintaining various modules within Workday, ensuring a scalable, secure, and user-friendly system. This role involves researching, designing, and implementing new functionalities, resolving incidents, and improving system design based on best practices and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Resolution: Prioritize and solve incidents related to People Applications based on customer impact.
  • Configuration: Configure business requirements into Workday in a scalable, secure, and efficient manner.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the Application, Technical, and Tech Solutions teams.
  • Support: Provide application support for People Systems and assist with complex configuration changes.
  • Documentation: Prepare documentation to support compliance and SOx requirements for every change deployed.
  • Security: Manage application security breaches and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Workday Releases: Support Workday releases, understand new features, and perform regression testing.
  • Best Practices: Represent our client in the Workday Community and bring back best practices from other organizations.
  • Prototyping: Explore and build new features for business demos.
  • Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of providing solutions after conducting risk assessments and checking SOx impact.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Workday Knowledge: Strong understanding of various Workday Modules, including HCM, Business Processes, Security, Compensation, Performance, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Benefits, and System Health.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday Reporting, Workday Calculated Fields, Workday Enterprise Interface Builder, and a good understanding of the People Systems Landscape.
  • Additional Systems Knowledge: Knowledge of SAP HR (Personnel Administration, Time Management, Payroll), Zendesk, and Greenhouse is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the People System ecosystem, with a focus on Workday.
  • Job Knowledge: 3-5 years of broad job knowledge in relevant areas.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
