Wordpress Developer

We are looking for a WordPress Developer for a contract role in Luxembourg for a minimum of 6-months .

As a WordPress Developer, you will join the "Marketing and Communication" domain, working full-time, where you will be responsible for:

• Working in an agile environment
• Designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and monitoring your WordPress projects
• Adhering to the principles of continuous improvement and modernization of the domain

The teams consist of a Product Owner, 1 Business Analyst, 1 Scrum Master, and several developers working within the Scrum methodology, closely collaborating with business-side stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in WordPress

• Strong experience with HTML/CSS/JS

• Proficient in PHP and able to develop WordPress plugins

• Able to consume REST APIs

• Able to integrate designs created by designers (in Figma)

• Knowledge of SEO is a real advantage

• Knowledge of accessibility is a real advantage

• Able to collaborate with developers from other teams to improve systems and processes in a domain-based environment

• Proactive, enjoy teamwork, and eager to learn

• Familiar with a version control tool such as Git

• Able to work on-site (at least 3 days per week)

Additionally:

• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Experience with the JSON-API standard
