Windows Platform Engineer - Financial Services

TurleyWay are partnering with a world renowned financial services client to support them with a Windows Platform Engineer/Senior Infrastructure Engineer. They are seeking an engineer proficient in Windows software development and systems administration. This is to join their Platform Engineering team managing core infrastructure across this business.

This is a hands-on, technical role. Working with a cross-platform engineering team that's responsible for core technology infrastructure.

Who we're looking for 

• Significant Windows software development and systems automation experience is required. Experience with C# or PowerShell is preferred. Experience with Python and other OOP languages would be beneficial.
• An in-depth understanding of the Windows platform and related technologies. Experience with common Windows Server applications and management tools.
• Working knowledge of network protocols, Linux, and information security concepts is required.
• Experience integrating systems across on-premises and cloud-based environments and working with containers on Windows and Linux is preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills are super imperative for this role as you will be working with different parts of the business. There is significant interaction with different departments in the company.
• Ideally a degree in computer science or STEM subject or comparable work experience.
