Job Description

Role: WAF Networking SME

Duration: 8 Month Contract

Day Rate: Up to £850 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: London / Sheffield - 1 day per week on-site

Summary

We are seeking a subject matter expert in WAF Networking for an 8 month contract with the likelihood to extend. The role has opened up as the client require a top tier WAF professional to be involved in gap analysis, audits, and to undertake reviews of their existing WAF suite.

You will be integral in understanding current company project restraints, design and reviews, and then make suitable recommendations.

The role is being offered as hybrid working with one day per week in either their London or Sheffield office.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Skills:
WAF Security within the financial sector
Application WAF Internal and External
Tools Knowledge i.e F5 WAF, Akamai, AppSec
Cloud WAF i.e Cloudflare
WAF Tuning
Design and Strategy
Review and gap analysis, and then to make appropriate improvements

Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Team Management Experience
- Ability to work closely with high-profile stakeholders
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
