Job Description
VP Finance - Insurance - London - £110,000 - £125,000 + bonus and benefits
You will need to be a qualified accountant with proven insurance sector experience with Reinsurance or GI experienced preferred. You will need to have strong reporting skills and be able to take ownership of a wide range of group tasks including reporting, consolidation and regulatory reports. You will need to be a capable leader, able to drive high standards and adapt to a fast-paced, changing business. Exposure to SOX or IFRS 17 would be beneficial but not essential.

Due to growth, the business is looking for a senior finance professional to join the business in London reporting to the Group Finance Director. Your new role
This is a broad and varied role with key duties and responsibilities including:
- Provide leadership and direction for the finance function.
- Preparation and review of financial statements and regulatory reporting and returns.
- Process improvements and control framework developments.
- Leading budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide analysis and insights to business leaders
- Solvency capital reviews and management
- Partnering with internal and external stakeholders including actuaries, regulators and auditors.
