The role
Working for a leading global financial institution, you play an essential role in managing the VDI environment offering expertse in (vCentre, Horizon); VMWare vSphere, ESXI, NSX, Horizon; Active Directory; Storage; PowerShell; SCCM/MECM; DR, Datacentres, Azure Cloud, M365.

Essential Experience

• 5+ Years of experience specialising in VMware vSphere technologies - HORIZON
• PowerShell/PowerCLI Scripting in enterprise production environments
• Microsoft SCCM/MECM
• Windows 10 & 11 desktops - performance troubleshooting and optimizatio
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Client operating systems and services. (MCSA preferred)
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS
• VMWare vSphere, ESXI, NSX, Horizon
• Hands-on Pure storage skills including configuration of snap management.
• Microsoft Windows build and support (all versions)
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, Routing)
• Working in enterprise datacentres, installing server and storage hardware, and managing suppliers
• Managing and maintaining DC disaster recovery operations
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure Cloud Adoption Framework (Certified Azure Admin Associate)
• Knowledge of the Microsoft 365 E5 suite of services (M365/Identity/Security Certified)
• A good understanding of the Azure technologies
• Experience of providing production and development support for business-critical applications and Servers
• Experience of working in a financial background (Investment Banking/Asset Management) would be desirable.
