We are looking for a skilled Unix Team Leader to manage our Unix/Linux operations with a focus on Red Hat environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation, incident management, and team leadership. You will be responsible for guiding a team of Unix administrators, ensuring system reliability, and implementing best practices in automation, ITIL and Agile methodologies.

Proficiency in Unix/Linux operating systems (mainly Red Hat).

Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting (mainly Python, Bash and Perl are a plus).

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (mainly Gitlab).

Experience with configuration management tools (eg, Ansible, Jenkins).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (eg., AWS, Azure) is a plus.

Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (eg, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

Experience with virtualization technologies (eg, VMware).

Knowledge of storage systems and backup solutions.

Experience with monitoring tools (eg, Nagios, Dynatrace, Prometheus).

Know how to work in agile Team (Scrum or Kanban)

Experience with enterprise environment (CAB meetings, ITSM tools, customer management, etc).

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Unix/Linux system administration.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and lead a diverse technical team.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- 5+ years of experience in Unix/Linux team management/leadership, specifically with Red

Hat ecosystem.
- Proven experience with Ansible, Red Hat Satellite, and GIT.
- Strong background in automation.
- Strong background in incident/change management.
- Proficient in Scripting languages (eg, Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and performance optimization.
- Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and cloud environments.
- Experience working in agile environments and understanding of agile practices.
- Nice to have: Experience with containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).

  • 2 days a week onsite in Luxembourg
