University, Enterprise & Design Team Manager (UEM/24)

Starting salary £55,207 annum plus attractive pension

Invest Northern Ireland is looking for a professional with experience in academic or industrial collaboration to join its University, Enterprise and Design Team.

The role

You will engage with key stakeholders, such as universities, colleges, government departments and stakeholders to encourage higher levels of collaboration and increased commercial outcomes.

You will encourage higher levels of collaboration and increased commercial outcomes from knowledge transfer, putting innovation at the core of enterprise in Northern Ireland. You will act as NI Contact Point for Horizon Europe, and provide team leadership and manage team activities, while partnering with Invest NI sector teams to identify and help companies with the potential to have the highest economic impact.

The candidate

You will possess a working knowledge of research centres and experience of engaging with universities and key stakeholders, maintaining stakeholder engagement and complying with governance requirements.
